Metro's Office and Design Studio

Metro recently moved to a state of the art facility located in Sterling, VA, next to Dulles Airport. The facility includes 4,000 SF of office space, a sample library, design studio and a 16,000 SF warehouse allowing for long term storage of client material.

Our design studio allows clients to sift through Metro’s extensive sample library in a welcoming, relaxed environment with functional space for selecting materials for your project.

History & Values

Metro Commercial Flooring was formed in 2001, in the basement of the Steve Butler’s house with one clear vision: To create a different customer experience. Metro has rapidly grown to be one of the largest commercial flooring contractors in the Metro DC area. We are a large company with a small business feel. Steve Butler, President and Steve Wanamaker, Vice President, regularly visit job sites and actively play a roll in all aspect of operations. Customers often comment that they are impressed to see them out there on every job getting their hands dirty, ensuring that their client needs are fully satisfied.
